Vanuatu Citizenship Programs is ideal for those who wish to obtain a second citizenship and passport, that is ranked 45th in the world. "As of 1 January 2017, Vanuatu citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 113 countries and territories, ranking the Vanuatu passport in the top 50 in the world, in terms of travel freedom according to the Henley visa restrictions index. , at a very competitive cost and in as little as six weeks with no need to travel or reside in the country.
The Vanuatu Development Support Program was enacted by the Government of Vanuatu under the Honorary Citizenship Regulation Order under Order No. 215 of 2016 where Privileges for "Honorary Citizenship Act [CAP 112] were set out in another regulation made by the Head of State, under Order No. 216 of 2016. Candidates may apply for Vanuatu Honorary Citizenship by contribution of funds to the Government of Vanuatu.
Vanuatu Honorary Citizenship by contribution starts from $130,000 usd. In addition there might be some additional charges and fees including citizenship cost, background check, processing fees and agent handling fees.
The Citizenship acquired under the Development Support Program is fully recognized by the Government of Vanuatu and the nationality is regarded as Ni-Vanuatu.
